In 1878, Godai invites Asa to Tokyo to witness its advanced development; her parents and younger brother return from overseas. In 1865, 15-year-old Asa is still naughty, which annoys her parents and the maids a lot. Yono and Chiyo welcomed him and let him eat with the family. I really like seeing them together. Asa is quite lucky coz Shokichi is open minded and Yono did not prevent her from study and working. The thing I love most about about these four weeks is the unlikely friendship that has blossomed between Shinjiro and Godai. Asa finds that motherhood is a learning and balancing act, as she tries to make time for Chiyo but still has to handle the coal mine and her desire to turn Kanoya into a bank.
It was broadcast starting April 23, 2016. Asa wants to reorganize the family business as a bank, which frustrates Eizaburō and head manager Gansuke as Asa gains control of the business. Asa offer to revolutionize the family business as a bank, which made Eizaburō and the head manager Gansuke frustrated for Asa's gained control for the business. Shinjirō gave her an abacus and encouraged her to act on her own will. But when her fiancé Shinjirō, 11 years older than her, comes to visit and her life begins to change. Eizaburō also had his daughter, and his core family move to a resident independent to the family. It's such an inspiring story with an admirable main character! Fuka Koshiba as Chiyo, Asa and Shinjiro daughter for the sake of family, Asa had make changes to Kanoya business where in future, Kanoya is no longer a money changer.
Hatsu has adopted a life as a peasant with her family, and are quite in poverty. She gave birth to 4 children of Shingorō. They also learned that the Imai family were going to move to , for Tokyo is becoming a promising new center of politics and economy. That women have the same capability as men or even more. Luckily her father-in-law Shōkichi is open-minded, and her mother-in-law Yono was not very actively opposed to her behavior, thus allowing her to study and work in the new family. Hatsu gave birth to a boy, in the Shirooka's household, when she came to bring some vegetables to Asa. He was also attracted to Asa's unique personality, but remained reasonable, as Asa was a married woman.
Later, Asa decides to hire female staff for the bank, to give young girls a chance to work. Asa had been engaged since born with the son of money changer in Osaka, Shinjiro Shirooka who is 11 years older that her. I just loved watching new side characters slowly being introduced and how they slowly blended into and influenced the overall story. After his father's failure of an independent business years ago, the Shirooka family had refused to aid his father, which made his family fall to poverty. A samurai friend, Saisuke Godai later , is able to find the husband and reunite the family.
Kyutaro is the eldest son for the family and bcoz of that, he is going to be the heir of his family business. Asako called tutors after she got permission from Shinjiro. The same could be said of Hatsu too and I loved the strong bond the sisters carried over their lives. Godai, Asa managed to transform Kanoya to a mining company and also a bank. The couple struggles with the pressures and responsibilities before confessing their feelings and deciding to be faithful to each other. Pacing continues to be good and the story is developing nicely on all fronts. A discontent worker intentionally caused an accident in coal mine during Asa's time staying with her daughter.
It is very inspiring and shows you a real character growth and also point out how important for the society to support and nurture women. He respect Asa as married woman and he decided to be friend with Asa family and Shirooka family. Asa also thought that during that time, women should be given a chance to study like men does. ~ Asa Ga Kita~ main point Asa determined in changing the society perception towards women's ability. Even though it is based on her life, there are many differences between the real Asako and Asa. The real Asako is a child from a concubine. In 1878, Godai tempted Asa to Tokyo to see the advanced development of Tokyo, and also her parents and her younger brother returned from overseas.
Asa is such a positive and resilient woman. Godai introduces Asa to notable figures, including his friend. Characters without name were mentioned but did not appear in the drama. It was broadcast on April 23, 2016. She gave birth to 4 of Shingorō's children. Things moved at a very consistent pace and there was no unnecessary dramatics.
I think we like a lot of the same actors because I like Sato, Nishiijma and Fujiki Naohito, too! Fuyu was touched and accepted, the couple has gone to the coal mine to monitor the workers for Asa, and they later gave birth to a daughter Natsu. Similarly, the fact the drama acknowledges the people that open the way for Asa to become successful. She and Hatsu have different mothers. The story in this drama, even though is based on actual events are changed to be more enjoyable a typical Japanese style, I must say. In 1885, Godai died of poor health due to his devotion to the development of Japan and pressure of mistrust of some factions. Osaka loses a visionary leader, and Asa and Shinjiro lose a dear friend.
