I like the look of it but I just cant seem to do easy tasks without having to do a whole load of things. Immediately it was there, without doing anything. This is similar to the v3 launch, with the 32C version launched several months later. Funny though, the 32bit version in 32bit works without a hitch. But that's not the case with Mixbus because the analog spirit of the Mixer is always working. In some ways, this is useful, as it allows the developers more flexibility, but the downside is that some aspects of Mixbus are not particularly intuitive, due to their unfamiliar structure.

Jonthebass Mixbus 32 is driving me mad. Curiously, the mix busses and the master fader do not scroll in the Mixer window, although mix busses can be hidden or shrunk.
It's also disappointing that user-created busses aren't latency-compensated - if this can't be done, we would personally give up this feature to gain more mix busses. If you want a distinctive sound without too much fuss, Mixbus is almost unbeatable, but it cannot compete with more professional solutions, especially given the lack of in-depth production tools. This means a little more planning ahead of time to create tracks and then bring in the files in groups. These problems can be alleviated to some extent by adjusting the theme colors and mixerstrip scale. In some ways, you are funnelled into a more classic approach to mixing a track.
